Equipped with Qualcomm chipset and Android-based operating system, Play for Dream MR virtual reality glasses promise to bring many realistic experiences to users.
Recently, Play For Dream Technology launched Play For Dream MR, a mixed reality headset, to users in the Asia-Pacific region, becoming the world's first spatial computing product running Dream OS based on the Android operating system.
Combining technology from multiple platforms including TV, theater, computer, gaming console, VR and 3D cameras, the Play For Dream MR headset is equipped with an 8K Micro-OLED display and an ultra-lightweight plastic Pancake optical solution.
Furthermore, this virtual reality device can also create an extremely detailed visual experience with an image resolution of up to 27 million pixels, a pixel density of up to 3,882 pixels per inch (PPI) and 45 pixels per dot (PPD) in the center of the screen.

Play For Dream MR is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2+ Gen 2 platform and an advanced camera and sensor system, including 11 high-performance cameras, 7 types of sensors and 22 infrared LEDs.
The product is the result of collaboration between Play For Dream Technology and a number of partners including IMAX, DTS, Qualcomm, Unity China, BOE and Sogou Input.
By combining IMAX and DTS, the device delivers IMAX's signature picture and sound quality, while Sogou Input ensures an unparalleled premium user experience.
In addition to entertainment functions, Play For Dream MR is also equipped with a super-sharp 3D dual camera with 32MP resolution, this device provides a wider viewing angle and storage capacity of up to 1TB.
Powered by Android, Play For Dream MR is compatible with over 300 ecosystem apps in Play For Dream's store, allowing users to access a wide variety of entertainment content and experiences.
Finally, another important feature of Play For Dream MR is that it is equipped with an AI chatbot named Xiao Hu. With this virtual assistant, you can ask it to perform basic tasks such as voice control, translation, information search, to more complex tasks such as converting 2D images to 3D to display in the AR environment of the glasses.
The device will also support Bluetooth keyboards and mice for working in the virtual world, but that won't be possible until a future update.
Play For Dream MR is expected to go on sale in Singapore and Malaysia in October 2024, followed by a launch in Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam and Japan in 2025.
