Apple Misleading About iPhone 16 Charging Port

Apple has caused confusion among fans about the USB-C charging port on the standard iPhone 16 model.

Apple has been gradually switching its products to the USB-C connection standard since the iPhone 15 generation. Continuing this move, the company has integrated a USB-C port on the iPhone 16 series, but the data transfer speed on the standard versions is still limited to USB 2.0, causing a lot of controversy and disappointment in the user community.

The USB-C port on the iPhone 16 has not been favored by Apple.

The USB-C port on the iPhone 16 has not been favored by Apple.

According to the latest leaks, the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus will only support USB 2.0 data transfer speeds (480MB/s), similar to previous iPhone generations using the Lightning port. Meanwhile, only the Pro versions will be equipped with much faster USB 3.0 speeds (10GB/s).

During the launch event, Apple emphasized the switch to USB-C and faster USB 3.0 speeds on the A18 Pro chip, which led many to mistakenly believe that all iPhone 16 models would have faster data transfer speeds than their predecessors. However, this is not the case, causing disappointment and misunderstanding for users.

However, Apple's move to USB-C is still seen as a positive step forward, opening up the possibility of improved data transfer speeds in the future. Users hope that Apple will soon upgrade data transfer speeds on standard iPhone versions, bringing a better experience to everyone.
